It's a lovely big looking old pub and Ive always wanted to go in there, so tonight we decided to go check it out , me & my boyfriend walked in to check out the pub for a future booking. And as we looked around the landlady asked me if I was Alright in a intimidating voice and I said "ignore me, we are just looking around" And she said "excuse me" She made me feel so uncomfortable, I left straight away from the very cleaky pub. Which is a shame but i will not...

Just a notification to the drinking public that as from last week (mid March 2018), the pub has metamorphosised into one owned by the Green King brewery of Bury St Edmunds. They brew many fine ales but I believe they have a similar food menu across all their pubs. This is something I found out when I had a brewery tour there in early March 2018.
