Britannia Fish Bar — Restaurant in Dartford

Just moved to the area and found this place on Uber eats. Along with other items, we had a battered sausage and chilli sauce. The food was very disappointing. Only the chips were edible. The chilli sauce looked like gravy or curry sauce and had no kick to it. The battered sausage was dripping with grease from the paper, very soggy and then when bitten into, not cooked!! Tried to call shop, but had already closed, so maybe it was a rushed last order.

No...definitely correct place and yes the name was different on the order. Surely you can identify your chilli sauce, as I have never seen chilli sauce like it before! I have contacted Uber eats for a refund for undercooked battered...

Be prepared to wait for ridiculous times when not even people in there. I walked in told them I’d like large chips then came back 10 mins later. He hadn’t put them on so stood and waited for another 10 minutes. It’s a chip shop! It’s what they do! But it’s never ready like most chip shops. The waiting every single time is ridiculous. And the chips are extremely low quality unlike Henderson chip shop not far away. Yes… I should of gone there, they at least smile unlike this lot. Avoid if you don’t like waiting for forever and do...

We accidentally ordered from this place and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt — big mistake. The food was extremely bad, both in taste and smell. I’ve genuinely never smelt anything so awful in my life. It was completely inedible and had to be thrown away.

To make matters worse, I called the restaurant to raise my concerns, and the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. No apology, no concern — just attitude.
