Have been there a few times

The place is, to me, more of a locals pub however having said that they make you feel. Welcome

Good selection of drink at reasonable prices

I think they serve food but can't comment on quality as not tried any

Place is reasonably clean and tidy if a little dated

They have a beer garden

There are more upmarket pubs in the area but this place is good for a drink if that's what you want

They have a car park and plenty on road parking available

I think they do a quiz night on Sundays but can't be certain this is still...

The pub is now under new management. They seem to be doing a lot of work to improve the pub, new pumps, some new furniture and a small seating area out side. Most important they are installing central heating, so it will be inviting in the winter months. Once they have refurbed the kitchen they will be starting to serve food again, now to also include the eve. Beer still great with some new ones and the new owners are friendly and invite suggestions for any improvements. Things are looking good, please help to...

I had a very pleasant evening in the Ivy Leaf which is under new ownership. My intention was to call in for a pint of Guinness. That became several pints plus 3 delicious rolls consumed throughout the course of the evening. Lively friendly atmosphere, great selection of background music and the service was first class thanks to the two ladies behind the bar, Lisa and Fran, who quite clearly enjoy their jobs and have lovely personalities.
