Starbucks — Restaurant in Dartford

I have loved this cafe for a long time, I have visited it in different places and it used to have one of the best customer services, what a shame it has been declining over time, even McDonald's or the cafe on the corner has better service and better sandwiches, fresher, more varied and more accessible to everyone. On this occasion for a coffee and a dessert that for its price should at least fit in the palm of your hand and not get lost in it. I am talking about more than 5 pounds for nothing. Anyway, I assume that because I decided to go there and I know what to expect (although as they only go for 1 coffee it will cost 5 pounds). Speaking of customer service, it is to pull your hair out. You have like 4 people hanging around the bar doing almost nothing, one for the coffee and the others look at each other and talk, I asked for a glass of water and nothing, I got up and asked for it again, and nothing, it never came. Apparently the tap water is the most expensive thing in that place, since they keep it for themselves. All in all I'm glad, now I can go to Costa or another cafe happy that they give me a glass of water and don't charge me for breathing. I was excited when Starbucks opened a new outlet in our town. After visiting number of times, I suggest the staffs need to approach customer proactively. Last time when I was there there were 2 staffs at the till but not taking orders from customers. I had to wait few minutes to get served. As this is a new cafe and don’t get too busy they will get plenty of time to chat but as a customer I expect to be served as I enter. However, I am more than happy to wait on the queue if there is other customers in front of me. Just been to this cafe (28/01/2024) and ordered a coffee. I waited for 10 minutes, even the people who ordered after me were served but my ordered did not show up. Worst staff in any of the Starbucks I’ve been to. The staff are all honestly so rude and all act like they don’t want to be there. The actual venue itself is nice and clean, drinks are decently made. But the staff, so rude it makes me hate coming to this branch even though it’s so close to me. I really do suggest the store manager observe how the staff act with customers and either help them to change or hire new staff.
