Greggs — Restaurant in Derbyshire Dales

Service at this branch of greggs is appalling! the manager comes across very ignorant and rude as if he almost doesn’t want to be there. I’ve been into this specific Greggs quite a few times over the last few weeks in which I’ve noticed they’re isn’t much of a selection either. I’ve had brown lettuce in baguettes, I’ve had watery pasta pots. Ive also been told that the bakes are hot to then buy one and it being hardly warm .. It’s shocking. Although, id like to praise a young man called Jordan for his kindness and politeness . Been a few times. Don't know anyone's names. Some really lovely staff, some lazy scrolling on phones when bin is spewing with rubbish. Food over the floor, tables, in the cracks of the seats, under the fridges. Everytime I visit, there's more food on the floor than there is behind the counter. Food runs out. Uttoxeter are way better. They're always cooking next batches, happy to help. Ashbourne is abysmal, pretty much like the area itself. Well suited. Chicken dips and wedges are cold. Nice little greggs store just off the main road going into the town via the big hill. Nice little seating area inside just a few tables, but enough to have a quick sit down and enjoy a baked item. It might be a small stall, but they stock all the usual items you 'd expect. The staff are super friendly and so helpful, even when its busy and everyone is cueing out the door.
