Not as the reviews state. Poor presitation and quality of salmon, poached eggs on muffins ( muffins wasn't even toasted one egg whites still runny) maybe a side garnish would make it not look so bland and fresh eggs would make a better taste than supermarket eggs. The counter and kitchen looks like they need a good clean. ( Noticed when I went to pay at counter) The dining area dated , and could do with a more warmer feeling and the sofas serve no purpose around table and chairs. Excellent surroundings, tables nicely distanced from each other - still a lot of infection around so this was much appreciated. Food good, both had all day breakfast. Large one included black pudding - hubby happy. Small one still plenty and it meant I had room for cake after! Menu choices are light meals/lunches rather than full meals but all looked good. Pleased to see oatcakes on the menu. Pleasant efficient staff. Will certainly go again, if only to sample...

My husband and I visited yesterday and had "a proper pie" for lunch, one chicken, bacon and mushroom and one steak and ale, very tasty with mash or chips, peas and gravy. Friendly service and very clean, light and airy surroundings. Good selection of dishes on the menu. Felt safe as lots of space between tables. Family friendly, reasonable prices.
