Sadly, our experience was not hygienic. The glasses were not clean, one had a human hair inside, the others had grubby fingerprints along the top edge. Cutlery had stains and were left on the tabletop surface rather than on napkins (COVID concern). There were only 2 soft drinks available - we ordered both and they were both out of date - the raspberry and elderflower drink expired in 2015. Ingredients weren’t available for some of the pizzas on the menu, although this is understandable for a small independent eatery. We still ate here, the pizzas & garlic bread were nice as it’s baked in a proper pizza oven. Having a Food Hygiene Standards certificate would’ve been reassuring though.
