Emilios Pizzeria — Restaurant in Doncaster

Visited an hour ago, first time in a few years as we've not been in the area. Food use to be absolutely amazing and I had never had a better calzone. Well fast forward to today, not one of the old friendly crew there but a well mannered young woman and a blunt man. Not welcoming. It appears the business has sold as the food is not the same in the slightest. We ordered a 11" bbq meat feast, a meat feast calzone, 2 chicken nuggets and chips, chips, coleslaw and some garlic dips. All but the chicken nuggets and chips went in the bin. It was disgusting. My calzone was not cooked properly still raw in the middle, spicy beef on it should be advertised as chilli beef as way to spicy. Pizza sauce (tomato based) was that consented it was sour. Pizza was poor quality ingredients (same in the calzone) and not very bbq to say was a bbq base. The chips were chips not to my liking, but the children enjoyed them and the nuggets. Waste of £40+ as im now making sandwiches as us grown ups are still hungry as the food went in the bin. Will definitely not be going back again. Wouldn't...

Pizza was pretty cold even though I picked it up straight away. My main issue is realizing I paid an extra £3.10 to have a half and half pizza when half was a margarita! So it cost £3.10 to not bother putting any toppings on half? What? Why? 🤣

Edit: thanks for the exceptionally long response. At no point did I mention my partners mix up with the old menu prices. Yes, I asked how much it was because I was confused why the half margarita half vegi was more than the vegi on the menu board. Like I said, you shouldn't be charging so much extra for a pizza with toppings only on one side. Also, maybe I should have said luke warm and not cold but I didn't lie, my partner didn't even dare eat the seafood one because he wasn't convinced...

Still good pizzas, but make sure they get your order correct , had a few problems with that REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE At the time this review was written I had three orders that were incorrect upon collection over a period of about 6 months. You now reply - 5 YEARS later - that every order was correct! I am surprised that you seem to be able to make such a comment so long after the event.
