this is a shame, the food was amazing some of the best I have ever had. but that is all, and why it at least got a three. there service was shocking. after being seated in tbe waiting area for a table of three I had booked two weeks previous, three larger parties were seated after us and lead away to their table. once we were finally seated there were several people sat down after us and completed their starter before ours had arrived. next our main was brought 40 mins after the starter was cleared only to be served about one third of what had been ordered. the guys had not even asked if we had everything on delivery I had to call someone over to point out we were missing a lot of food. they then took everything from our table to return in five mins with all fresh food. these are just the highlights to the evening there were a lot of other small issues. like setup of table a state of cutlery etc. the thing to take away from this is it wasnt busy, and having run restaurants for some time myself I know what is involved in this. it wasnt busy; and tbe floor staff were not well trained or not bothered, but the food was amazing. in my mind another visit will show me what's what, but if your a first timer note these things before you go. you may not get treated well or you may, the place is nice enough but could be a lot better with a small amount of work, the food is very good.

DON'T - JUST DON'T Have their Food 8/12/2024 - Just warmed up my 'Meal for 2' - ordered 4 dishes and each was cold ( except for the Yoghurt which is supposed to be cold ) - I went for a takeaway a few years back and the incredibly cocky owner that claimed that 'once you have had my food you will NEVER eat anywhere else' - well it was so bad I never went back. BUT I made a MASSIVE mistake tonight and ordered from 'Just eat' - They were good by the way for delivery - BUT the FOOD IS APPALLING. Good points 1 = delivered faster than quoted. 2 = There is no more good points! - all of the tiny dishes I have had to heat / cook myself as they were too cold to consume. 4 different dishes from the range of mild to hot were exactly the same except for the tough meat - (raw chicken was not a tough though) Save your money and get a £3 ready meal from the local mini market - its better quality and you will get more than the £20 I have just wasted. PS they also add a SERVICE CHARGE for the delivered items ON TOP OF the delivery cost - Be very cautious of these Rip You Off guys. There are dozens better places to use. - I certainly...

Saw good reviews for this restaurant take away. Ordered takeaway for two people. Had to wait about 20 minutes which was OK. When we got food back to hotel,what a disappointment? Ordered onion bhaji's to start - we got two onion rings in almost raw batter. Mixed kebabs consisted of one Seekh Kebab and a pile of something grey and liquid. The main course were Handi (meat?) - it looked and tasted "GRAY" nothing else to be said. Other main course was Hyderabadi lamb. Looked and tasted exactly like the Handi meat same colour, GRAY and same taste - GRAY and same consistency. We had a nan bread - OK and Pilau rice which was more like egg fried rice but gray. Was it that the pots were not clean and worn out or the cooks did not know the menu and were making it up. I don't know. What i do know though is it was the worst Indian take away i have ever had. This is by far THE WORST Indian food outlet in Doncaster or anywhere I have ever had food...
