The Tea Rooms Review is/was.... Visited here a couple of weeks ago. Decided to let the novelty aspect were off as it has been very busy. It is very well renovated and what was the old Post Office and Stable block has been turned into a beautiful house and tea rooms. The courtyard is beautiful and great for sitting out in the sunshine. Inside is well laid out but it was very busy and we could see an immediate problem if you were in a wheelchair. The disabled toilets are vast with plenty of room to manoeuvre BUT access to the far end of the building through a busy restraunt will be tricky to negotiate without disturbing other customers. Food choice was not massive but very nice. The drinks prices are on a par with other establishment's. No WiFi though, which if your a businessman and want to chill when you work then it's a no no here. Overall we were impressed. 🍜Food 9/10 🚩Location 10/10 ♿Disabled Access 6/10 💲Price 8/10 🚮Cleanliness 10/10 🌐Wi-Fi 0/10 🐕Pet's Welcome? Read moreHi ,we have been to the tea room & really enjoyed it .So I was disappointed, when I rang to enquire about afternoon tea for my family of 10 people & was quoted £16:95 pp.I wanted 10th March because it is our Golden wedding anniversary, however I was then informed that because it's mothering Sunday the next day,the price was therefore £19:95,a price hike of £3 pp.When I asked what we would get for the price difference, I was told the cakes would be slightly higher quality, with glass of processor, but 5 of our party do not drink .The food should be lof good quality across the calender.I know that it's supply & demand but such an increase is disgraceful. We have since booked with another tea room, who charge no more...
