The Manor At Old Denaby — Restaurant in Doncaster

It was super busy when we went which is great for the re opening we were so excited when they announced it. We did have issues with the food the yorkshire pudding starter was cold inside this was 3 out of 4 of us. However it was promptly collected and rectified and free round of drinks given for the inconvenience of waiting, can't fault the politeness of staff. We then were waiting quite a while for our main and when I enquired was told the chef wasn't happy with the original so asked for it to be re cooked which is great they are conscientious about quality, we were then offered another free round of drinks for our wait as we should have been told it was going to be a little longer-again we cannot fault the service and conduct of the staff. We enjoyed our food when it arrived however the sausages on mixed grill were not Cumberland as advertised, were plain pork, but we left with full bellies and had a lovely time , atmosphere was amazing. We will be back and thank you, always going to be slight teething problems when re launching and appreciate it was a packed night , price of food was super good...

I have visited The Manor twice now once in September 2018 and yesterday. I would highly recommend a visit. Friendly staff /management who will go above and beyond to cater for you. Most recently when we visited there we're 22 of us. We arrived early in order to decorate was shown our table area other than stick things on the walls (which is understandable) we were allowed to do what we liked. We did have to shift a few tables around but that's due to the amount of people we had and personal preference for us. The staff/ management were brilliant and went above and beyond to cater for us, 1 of our guests is a diabetic, we notified them of this upon booking and they made a special pudding for him! We also had 3 guests that has to nip out for an hour between starters and main course. The staff delayed the main courses for these guests and as soon as they arrived back their meal was served. Brilliant customer service and food!! I must say since the new management have taken over the manor, the experience from the moment you walk through the door is completely different and 100% for the better!!

All of the staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you! The Sunday dinners are a MUST try!!! I dare to say the best Sunday dinners in the area now! Definitely value for money, We go most Sundays now 😆 We've also tried the steak night which did not disappoint! Hats off to the chef serving the highest quality dishes!

I feel I need to make a special mention to Dave who has been great and goes above and beyond for his customers! He even opened up the pub and put some drinks on for me and my Hen party whilst we waited for our mini bus! We were so appreciative and can't thank him enough for that!
