👥️️ We never been before to this multi-award winning restaurant with over 200 seats, fully air-conditioned with beautiful chandeliers through out the restaurant. The looks, setting, design is absolutely amazing! Takeaway and delivery service available.

⚠️ Very limited parking at the back on double yellow line, but a public car park across the road with no lighting and kids playing around which is a big issue.👎

We've ordered starters, main and dessert:- Poppadoms, Cheesy Chicken Kebab🧀 Kingprawn Puree's Karahi Gosht, Karahi Chicken Tikka Keema & Matter, Malik's Special, Mushroom Fried Rice, Peswari Naan, Chapattis Dessert Waffle Malik's Royal Ferrero 🍨

When we ordered our food it arrived promptly. Open kitchen 👍 Instrumental flute music 🎶👍 Plates with their own logo stamped👍

Poppadoms cold under temperature and less crispy, not from hot plate. Loved the mint sauce though. 👎 Malik's Special turned out to be ordinary curry nothing special in a minni wok with no special decorations or presentation. 👎 Karahi wasn't sizzling, usually smoky and sizzles hot.👎 Didn't expect Cheesy Chicken Kebab to come out on Sheek Kebab with little bits of cheese on it.👎 Own unique Dessert Menu with dessert bar👍

Toilet spacious and clean 👍 Table response unit was a surprise! Not only seen it but we used it couple of occasion and the response was overwhelming.👍👏 Surprising Equality of Staff's, not just front of Staff's but also in the kitchen too.👍👌

Overall the food is good, staff are really attentive, very polite, welcoming and it has a great relaxed atmosphere. Not pressured to hurry up either.

The high ratings of this place wouldn't be possible without the terrific staff's. Fast service and outstanding customer care is something that guests or customers note's in their good books.

We've enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again and recommend too.

Waited 2 and a half hours for our food, no communication from staff. They were too busy fulfilling takeaway orders to care about those in the restaurant.

We saw another table complain about their wait and the food and one of the staff was extremely rude and defensive. One other table left without their main meals because of how long it was taking. When our food EVENTUALLY arrived, it was tasteless, curry was watery and chips smelt like nasty oil. They forgot to bring 2 of our sides, and we never received these. At this point we were all annoyed and wanted to leave.

There was also a table behind us that were waiting exceptionally long for their food, and when it arrived it was inedible. I can imagine there was about 4 or 5 tables that made complaints in the time we were in the restaurant.

Because of the diabolical experience, we raised a complaint, the same staff member as before was extremely rude and boarder-line aggressive so I started recording the conversation (which I had every right to do) The members of staff did not like this and were extremely rude to me, trying to gaslight me into saying I was breaking the law. Having 2 grown men being more bothered about me recording a conversation rather than resolving our complaint says a lot about how these people run a business in my opinion.

Our bill came to over £150 but the manager gave us a £56 discount. However we still paid almost £100 for food that no one ate.

The toilets were also disgusting. No toilet paper and one of them didn’t flush!

Please avoid this place. There are so many lovely places in and around Lye, with genuinely lovely staff and amazing food. This place ruined ours, and about 5 other tables...

It was our first visit to this restaurant, had heard some mixed opinions about the place, our friends had booked it for our Xmas meal, so we went with an open mind. We entered and the decor was very nice and could not believe how the pub that it used to be had been changed. We were shown to our table nice seats not to over crowded. The place was mega busy. Checked out the menu and ordered our meals. Starters came and they were all very good, onion barges, chicken puri and 2 of us had a cheese, onion chicken sizzle. The mains came out 3 of them looked the same even thou they were different and we had a biriani. This was the worst out of the four bland, tough chicken and hard rice. The other 3 we OK. We called over the manager and he apologised, told us we should have pushed the button on the table and they would have sorted it. But at no time we were told about the button. He also said they were very busy and it was the time of year. He did take one meal off the bill. I think it will be a long time till I would return to...
