ISO Sushi Stourbridge (Iso) — Restaurant in Dudley

Found this hidden gem whilst searching on just eat and saw that It was fairly close to where I live so me and my partner thought we should go and try eating in. And my god, was this the best decision we ever made. We both had a starter and a main and non of it disappointed us. My partner having a salmon maki followed by the chicken katsu bento (as recommended by other reviews) which was a nice balance between flavour and heat without the heat over powering you. And myself had the vegetarian gyoza’s (9 in total!) with a side of a sweet chilli dip which complimented well but the main reason I was looking forward to eating here was the ramen. I ordered the steak Ramen and I cannot put into words how good this was! In fact everything was so good we ordered food to take away! The size portions, the service, the food and the atmosphere of this place is 10/10 and the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. 100% would recommend and will definitely be returning or ordering takeaway as...

FOOD - 10/10 - IM A SUCKER FOR SOFT SHELL CRAB TEMPURA, CHICKEN GYOZA AND THE LOADED KATSU FRIES

SERVICE - 10/10 - IF ORDER IS LATE I GET A PHONE CALL TO INFORM ME. ON WEEEKENDS THERE ARE LONGER DELAYS BUT THAT IS EXPECTED ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY NIGHT - DESPITE THE ORDER BEING LATE THE FOOD IS PIPING. THIS SHOWS THAT ITS FRESH AND NOT JUST SAT IN A DRIVERS CAR FOR 30-40 MINUTES WHILST ON OTHER DROP OFFS. IF A RESTAURANT IS BUSY DAILY ANDF THE FOOD IS LATE BUT STILL PIPING THEY MUST BE DOING SOMETHIGN RIGHT.

STAFF - 10/10 - POLITE AND FRIENDLY ASK TO LEAVE A HONEST REVIEW AND HAVE TAKEN MY NUMBER DOWN TO SEND ME FUTURE DISCOUNT CODES. I MEAN WHO WOULDNT WANT TO GET DISCOUNT CODES IN THIS DAY AND AGE.

Weird one. We didn't actually order food from you guys. But we had a big order dropped off on my doorstep last night and the driver had already driven off when I got to the door. Thought it was amazon tbh.

Did call you to explain it wasn't ours, but the person hung up on me when I was trying to explain. Not complaining, we waited an hour to see if anyone would turn up. Checked with next door to see if it was theirs. Ended up just eating it after an hour rather than throwing it.

The food was amazing. You've got yourselves new regular customers after what we tried 😂 so win win I suppose. But yeah, didn't want the driver to get in trouble so did genuinely try to sort it out, but to no avail.
