We spent the morning in Anglesey Abbey today and decided to try a local cafe in the area because the one in the Abbey was packed. Using Google Maps, we discovered one in Burwell called Village Green. We chose this cafe because of its good ranking on Google. It appears to be a favourite hangout spot in the community. The village is small, but the cafe is quite busy. A cosy coffee shop focuses on comfort, warmth, and relaxation. The interiors are furnished casually, inviting people to stay for a relaxed atmosphere. They primarily serve various types of coffee, espresso, latte, and cappuccino, tea, light lunch, and a good selection of cakes. The environment is clean, and the employees are courteous and pleasant. The Americano coffee was okay—not the best I have had—but given the pleasant atmosphere and service, I wouldn't hesitate to return. Glad we went.

We had a impromptu pit stop on the way back home from a trip and found this lovely coffee shop. My partner is a big coffee fan, so we go to quite a few. The chai was one of the best I've ever had, they helped with recommendations when I was stuck between cakes. The cake itself was incredibly tasty and even though I don't need it, it was gluten free. They had lots of gluten free options and I couldn't tell at all. The staff are incredibly polite, you are not crammed in and have plenty of space when sat down. The facilities were clean and nicely taken care of. The decor was elegant and well thought of and the chairs were very comfy. I would make a point of revisiting, even if that takes me out of my way.

Popped in to ask if I could put a poster up, The coffee smelt so good I had to buy a cup. The guys in there were friendly, food looked great and the coffee was spot on. Lovely and welcoming, great sound system, just a great little place to catch up with friends or watch the world go by. I will be back.

Great place to have in Burwell and the coffee is great quality, far better than the likes of Costa or Starbucks. Good selection of snacks and cakes. Only thing I would offer is it would be great if they offered a breakfast option, even if it was just eggs on toast (selfishly, eggs Benedict would be fantastic 😉). I believe they have limited kitchen space which makes this impractical but if you are ever renovating in future perhaps something to...
