Costa Coffee — Restaurant in East Suffolk

It's a Costa. It sort of annoys me when areas of a café are cordoned off 45 minutes prior to closing. This is supposedly (though illogically, when you consider it) for the convenience of staff who want to head off moments after closing time, but when that's at the inconvenience of customers I do wonder what the corporate procedures say on the matter. Okay, I'll sit anywhere where there's a clear table and no adjacent screaming infant in the 'control' of an irresponsible parent. On this day, two very uncleared tables were available. Of the remaining available tables one was situated directly underneath a positively arctic steam of aircon and the other next to the toilet. This being the lesser of two evils, I had time to contemplate (with my very good latte/extra shot) both the noises and odours associated with my enforced selection of seating and the attitudes of staff who evidently were oblivious to escalating piles of catering detritus gathering on tables. Food was very good apart from one member of staff came by at the back of machine where I was sitting by the window and picked her nose (after I had eaten). Didn't even think to use a tissue in a catering business and washed her hands afterwards. Very off putting especially been pushed out of the way to queue to order food and drink by another customer. Being pregnant with a disability, there was no display sign to queue and was knocked out of the way so the customer could purchase her coffee with a small group of other people. The service, friendliness and product served here is always consistent. I highly recommend this store. Yes, you pay an increased price, but you get a descent cup if coffee. This is lacking in the surrounding area.

I always have the same drink, Flat White with Oat Milk and this has always been consistent. The one time it wasn't, it was replaced without question.
