The Halesworth branch of focus organic is the prime reason that I visit that town. Their promotion of cruelty free items is the best in any shop I have found in the area. It’s a big bonus for me to have a member of staff who is vegan who works on the food counter and always knows what cake or savoury would go well with my oat milk cappuccino. I will always come out of the shop with one or two more items than I meant to get! I can also have my coffee outside if it’s nice weather or there is a lovely room upstairs, very chilled with some quiet music and lovely items for sale to look at. The owner is great, I once went in and had to leave a bag of Purchases, because I’d left my purse at home, and after I had driven home and come back She then sold me my hot chocolate as a thank you for being honest. Read moreA bit of a shame that this lovely cafe has gone down hill, visited to be greeted with quite rude staff, ordered a cup of tea for nearly £3 to be served in a paper cup and then when asked to use the loo was told rudely that they don’t have one even for paying customers to use! The shop is still beautiful and I would definitely return to browse but cafe and staff members attitude needs a rethink! There is a huge range of herbs, spices, organic foods and vegetables as well as frozen foods, wines, olive oils etc. Delicious breads, salads, pastries etc and excellent coffee, tea, cacao etc. Precious and unusual gifts, toys, clothes and jewelery too. The knowledgeable staff go out of their way to be helpful and make you feel like family. It is such a great place to shop or have a coffee, lunch or break.
