Regrettably had to cancel at short notice due to my fathers terminal illness. He died the following day. Was still charged a surcharge of £40 plus the loss of the ticket prices so all in all nearly £100. Did email to express some surprise at the surcharge and got a one line semi literate response basically saying “tough luck”. Awful treatment of customers. Fabulous lunchtime cruise. Very informative re history and of the ness and the wildlife. Considering the size of the galley the Food was excellent..We were a party of nine pre booked and food prepaid. When we paid our drinks bill on board we were surprised to be given. 10% service charge on everything including the prepaid food. If you want something for a birthday, anniversary look no further. Was hired for a 60th birthday and the crew where absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble.
