You all probably know by now that The Stanford is back on track. As good as it previously was but now with a contemporary attitude towards its patrons. Food will soon be back on track, thank goodness, so watch out for that. Oh. Food is back Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

There are now a total of twenty pumps on the bar with a constantly changing selection of draft and keg ales and beer.

We can thank our lucky stars that, once again, we can all continue to supp real ale and beer at this unique establishment in Lowestoft. The new owners are as fanatical about beer and ale as the previous landlord, and the quality and selection on offer reflects this by the keg load. This place is a hidden gem in this town. Came here for pizza and drinks .

Ordered two Pizzas was missing one of the toppings so sent it back, also missing the dipping sauce, no napkins. took 40 mins to come back out, the next pizza which came out was unbelievably dry and burnt, was called across the restaurant to collect it instead of the regular table service. If this wasn't bad enough £9 a pint of IPA is ridiculous!

Absolutely stellar line-up of draft beer when I visited, plus I got a proper haul of bottles from the fridge to take away. Massive shout-out to Pavi, who was absolutely smashing the table service when I was there - she was friendly and welcoming to everyone, knowledgeable on all the beers, and multi-tasking like a boss.
