Beautiful wide and well built bridge which will transform the lives of locals and those travelling through the town alike. We have waited a long time but it has been worth it. A great result. Thank you Farrands and all the organisations who supported the build.

Transformative for the town. Incredible piece of engineering. It’s majestic and provides an amazing new view down the river. The traffic flow has improved beyond measure, and it’s joined the north and south in such a positive way. A triumph.

Has made a great difference to the town, especially routing through traffic away from the congested Oulton Broad. Great pedestrian/Cycleway facilities but these should be segregated with a white line.

6th August 2024 and this bridge is not yet open. It is now embarrassing. Our friendly neighbours in Yarmouth got their new bridge open in January. That was despite a German WW2 bomb exploding onsite and a colony of rare Newts that...
