A Slice of Happiness — Restaurant in England

Found this place by chance on the net and so glad that we did. There has not been a birthday for my husband without an afternoon tea, and this one was the best yet. We chose panini's to start, sausage roll, scones and a slice of cake with two pots of tea, all for just £30 total and all made fresh. The service was amazing with a very friendly helpful lady (we are sorry we did not take your name) you made us feel so welcome at a very busy period for you. The afternoon tea came out with the staff singing happy birthday and they had put a candle in my husband's cake. These little things all make the difference. All in all we loved our visit, for the service atmosphere and the food. What a lovely charming place....

Such a lovely edition to North Petherton!

It is so cute inside, a lot of effort has been put into making the shop warm, friendly and inviting.

We stopped in for coffee, a tea cake and to take some cake home.

Service was great, the cake was lovely, definitely freshly made... The only reason it's not quite 5 star is simply because the coffee is out of a machine and you can really tell. It was pretty much milk. No Biggie, but my husband and I are proper coffee snobs so this was a bit of a shame for us.

Definitely recommend you go in to try everything else though and support another lovely local business in...

Slice of Happiness is incredible - easily the best breakfast/brunch spot in town! Their menu is so packed full of delicious staples that you’ll never be disappointed - and that’s if you can resist the amazing array of cakes and brownies!
