Taart has had a wonderful atmosphere each and every time I have visited. The aesthetics, the smell of coffee and food cooking, the sounds of the kitchen, the local art on the walls (the everything!) work in unison to create a unique feel. Somehow every element of Taart perfectly creates a calming and humble feel - a rare find for a café on the doorstep of a main road. The staff are helpful, kind and wholeheartedly welcoming. The coffee is good, and the range of food is well-thought out and lovingly made.
Covid-19: social distancing with separated tables, and one way system. Observed cleaning after each customer during my visit and it was done very thoroughly. Screens for PP measures at counter. Hand jel available at entrance.
