If the signature dishes I ordered were cooked by their award winning chef they advertise today I'll be shocked that he is or if he is was/is working there. Very dissapointed, watery and bland food, I order devil's tamarind a lot from blue mango in taunton this one didn't even look like the same dish, the other signature goan chicken dish was a mile away from how that should be thats a well known indian dish and this is the worst i have ever had. Very small amounts of meat in the dishes also. I ate three dishes which were 100% made from a base sauce which is fine in a classic £6/7 dish but not your premier offerings. The garlic naan again was poor I'd say brushed on garlic butter was the extent of that. Didn't receive the free bottle of coke advertised either which wouldn't of mattered but now continues the insult. Very disappointed in my £46 takeaway for 2. Prices paid were prices accepted for signature and house specialities, well thought out full of fresh ingredients and spices not what was received here. Definitely won't be spending anymore of my hard earned money at spice gallery. Sorry about the negative feedback but when you feel clearly ripped off it needs to be shared. Read moreThe best curry I have ever had. I’ve been to Sri Lanka, India and many other Asian counties and the food and service here was seconded to none. I’m not a big fan of spicey food and my usual tikka masala is more than enough spice for me. Although in my old age I try new things and I am so glad I did. For starter we had
Jinga ‘e’ garlic Scallops chilli fry
Absolutely fantastic I even had a chilli never again hahah however it was still a taste sensation 10/10 for starters
Mains
Chicken tikka masala Chittagong chill Pilau rice Garlic naans

The atmosphere and the staff where great very polite and couldn’t do enough for us. This was not my first visit I do regularly get take away from here and every time it has been spot on.
10/10 from me...
Read moreIf I was able to give more than five stars I would not hesitate in doing so. Food was prepared and served with the passion of a master chef in a five star hotel and was worth waiting a few extra minutes for.Even the garlic naan was nicely prepared, garnished with some greenery and slightly cut so you didn’t have to tear it with both hands. Maybe a tad pricey at £22 for a chicken tikka masala, pilau rice veg bhagi, garlic naan and a coke, but the quality more than made up for the dent in my plastic. My only real criticism is the lighting is very bright unnecessarily so, you could argue that at least you can see what’s on your plate unlike some other restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates quality Indian food…Now saving for...
