Adrians Fish & Chip Shop — Restaurant in England

The food, delicious delicious, DELICIOUS, cod bites were fresh with lovely batter - SCRUMPTIOUS! We decided to try the gourmet burgers, BEST burgers we have had in a long time ! - just mouth wateringly delicious, Chips were perfectly fried and side dishes were all very tasty! Just wish we lived closer as we live quite far away from this amazing Fish Bar, but looking forward to the next time we are in the area as we will certainly stop over for some more delicious food, the owners have also redone the store and it looks very clean and smart, the food is value for money and the owners are incredibly nice people as well as their staff - highly recommend...

Gone back downhill since being taken back on. Used to be awful, new owners really turned it around and the place was amazing. New owners have taken it back on and it's gone back the greasy mess it was prior. Won't be back.

Post response: We've been in twice since it was taken over. 1st time we noticed a significant drop in food quality. Soggy, oily and greasy chips and oily batter. Whoever took over from the original owner really turned the place around, now it's back to how it used to be. 2nd time my partner went in and gave it the benefit of the doubt but couldn't even finish the meal as was so...

Having moved to the North west of Yeovil from the South east, we haven’t had takeaway chippie for ages. We’ve just had our first takeaway from Wessex Road. It will not be our last. I’d go so far as to say it’s the best chip shop chips I have ever eaten (And I’ve eaten a lot of chips shop chips in my time). Not overly greasy, nice and crispy, the batter on the sausages was light and crispy and the curry sauce almost decadent in its thick consistency....
