Fantastic service from the minute I entered the restaurant. All the staff were very attentive, even though it was a busy night, the service we received was impeccable and swift. We had different waiters serving us and every single waiter was lovely and kind. We had some jokes with them too!.. the food was very delicious I recommend the chicken shahee and the waiter recommend I tried the tandoori grilled fish for starters it was amazing!!..we had a lovely chat with the boss at the end of our meal and we even received free shots normally it's a Baily's shot but as we don't drink he gave us a non alcoholic shot instead. Oh and we were handed lollipops on the way out!.. it's the little things that make your night and I have to say well done to Akash best customer service I have received in a very long time. I will definitely be returning again soon and will be recommending Akash to friends and family. 10/10 👏

Been coming here for over 35years on a regular basis, from weeknights, to weekends & Sunday buffet etc, I've noticed over the past few visits portion sizes have gone smaller, curries have been bland, no flavour, granted everybody is cutting costs, but I've been having the Shimla grill for years, you used to get half a tandoori chicken & king prawns with it, this is what I was served last night for £13.50, basically a bigger mixed kebab starter, rice & salad, the vegetable curry sauce was just bland, so acting upon what was served & what we paid, wasn't value for money for 3 of us, I've had better Indian takeaways elsewhere, on my personal experience I wouldn't rush back, I will probably go & spend my money elsewhere, for a better tasting curry, sorry Akash but I'm just giving my honest experience on what we got & our overall rating of our visit....

I enjoyed the service as they were very Intensive but the food was extremely dry and brittle. I don’t recommend unless you like bland food but the atmosphere was ok at least. Interesting deco reminded me of the Great Depression. Overcharged food. Bad atmosphere. Bad service. Do not recommend, food looks better than it taste.

2018 5 stars - My wife and I love this place. Don't get to go often but do try for that special occasion. We'll price nice choice and loverly staff - 2018

2020 0 stars - Well I feel let down. I feel that there has been a decline in service and today really pushed this review. Our meals came separate instead of being same time on a trolly and mine looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while as it had a dark outer skin on the mackan and my rice was under done or was also sitting under a lamp as it had hard grains. I was also charged for a drink that never arrived, i think this was down to us having multiple servers that was not comunicating with each other. Our order was not listened to as we asked for no salad on my son's plate only for it to turn up with it on. And when my wife was asked if she wanted her salad on a seperate plate and she said no put it on same plate they came back 60 seconds later with it on seperate plate. It used to be loverly hear and i think the staff new how bad it was this evening because as we was leaving a member of staff apologised for how we was let down, this was strange as we never said anything of our visit, unless he could see the disapointment in our faces. It is a shame as we used to love coming here but now I feel it's time to find a new...

A group of Five friends went to this restaurant to celeberate a special occassion expecting a good dinner out. We have ordered 3 Fish starters and 2 others. But the Pricey Fish starter was just the tiny tail of fish with heavily skined. Barely a mouthful of eatable fish for Appx £7-£8 Suppose to serve Starter first followed by Dinner, but we been served all together while we were waiting for longtime just drinking wines. Not impressed at all. The food quality was terrible regardless of we requested to cook with more spicey flavour. It was total waste of time and appx £200 yet we had an aweful experience.

Even in the end, Usually any indian restaurant offers like "After Eight Mint" along with the bill but we been serve with few orange slices which looks so cheap. When politely mentioned to the owner about our overall experience; he was bully, arrogant and rude. Absolutely disasterous experience! Will never go back and never recommed anyone...
