We visited the Heritage Centre at the weekend while spending a few days in the Darwen/Blackburn area doing some 'family history', and trying to locate and visit as many associated sites as possible in a relatively short space of time before heading back south. The team members at the Centre were all extremely welcoming and helpful, including assisting us to identify the exact house number where my grandparents, mum and aunt had once lived on Olive Lane, and the church where my grandparents were married in 1924.
