Bakers and Baristas is hands down one of the best local spots around. The service is consistently five-star — every single member of staff carries themselves with a sense of pride and ownership that’s rare to find these days. You’re always greeted with a warm welcome, and the atmosphere is spot-on: friendly, relaxed, and full of good energy.
The management is also a big part of what makes this place special. Marzena leads the team with genuine care and professionalism — it’s clear she sets the standard for the exceptional service and consistency you get every time you visit.
Special shoutout to Shams, the barista who makes hands down the best coffees around. Perfectly made every time — rich, smooth, and exactly how you want it. You can tell he takes pride in his craft.
I’ve never had a bad experience here — not once. The food is always fresh, well-presented, and delicious, and the coffee? Top-tier. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeaway or sitting in for a catch-up, the quality never drops. You can tell they care about what they do — and that makes all the difference.
It’s more than just a coffee shop — it’s become a part of my weekly rhythm. Good coffee, good laughs, and great people....
Read moreI would have to give this place 1 star as cannot give a 0 rating. Visited here with a friend on Thursday 9th Jan '25. My friend would have liked the prawn baguette but sold out. This was 12.30 lunchtime. A woman came over to serve us at the counter. Although the food looked delicious, no allergens were listed on the descriptions of what the food items were. I have a dairy intolerance so, on asking if you have any dairy free options, the woman I asked didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I said it again so she asked the woman behind her and she just simply said 'No' and carried out with what she was doing. I find it terrible that, in this day and age with food allergies and intolerances being much more prevalent, this establishment cannot offer anything that doesn't contain milk. I couldn't even see any vegan options either. Needless to say we walked out and visited another coffee shop where they had both vegan and dairy free options PLUS listing's of allergens...
Read moreVery expensive, paid just over £18 for 2 hot chocs, a muffin and a caramel slice. We were asked if we would have like whipped cream, marshmellows and a flake at no point we're we told that each additional item would cost 75p per item per hot chocolate which resulted in an extra £4.50 on top of our bill for the extras, I know that generally when you have extras on your hot chocolate it's usually 50p-£1 for the extra. I was in absolute shock when I realised I had paid so much for such little extras (very skimpy with the extras) I could have popped to sainsburys and brought whipped cream, marshmallows and flakes for £4.50. However the hot chocs and cakes...
