Bay Leaf Cafe Poole — Restaurant in England

I visited the Bay Leaf Cafe on Saturday 12 September 2020 for brunch. I was with two other people. This was my first visit.

The cafe comprises of a small main dining area with a good number of tables inside and out.

The team were friendly and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and enjoyed the experience.

I enjoyed a tasty traditional breakfast. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted good. The food was good value for money, I paid around £9 for this large breakfast plus a mug of tea and an orange juice (cheaper options were available!).

Absolutely love coming here! Whenever my partner and I feel like going out for lunch, we always opt for Bay Leaf Cafe! This is such a gem on a busy main road. The people are lovely, and the food never fails to disappoint! My partner is a particular fan of the belly buster and eggs benedict, whereas I prefer the paninis and omelette (which is huge and better than others that I've tried at different establishments!) Service great, food not. Ordered cheeseburger with chips. Added bacon to burger and gravy to chips. 'Beef' patty obviously processed and hardly recognisable as beef or even meat. Chips obviously of the frozen variety and gravy nothing more than Bisto and hot water. Yes, the prices are cheap but that's also reflected in the quality of the food.
