Stefanos Taverna — Restaurant in Great Britain

What can I say about this restaurant which I haven’t already said on their facebook page, unfortunately noone will be able to see my review as the guy has blocked me, hence the review is not viewable. That simply out of order and lack of respect as I have already said in my review. The guy is full of himself, arrogant, disrespectful and more importanly aggressive and defensive as opposite to use the feedback to improve his extremly low standards of the customer service skillks. I have given a one star to the restaurant due to the rudness and lack of respect of the guy my hubby and I were dealing with. We ate there last night the owner was friendly seemed very nice. Was'nt very busy which was fine as it was a match day, maybe. Menu was very limited so we chose accordingly. Drinks came, already poured in a glass which straight away i found very strange and very flat which made me realise that it must be out of a large bottle, normally you go to a restaurant soft drinks come in a can unopened with a glass or in a small glass bottle. That was a definate no no for me. The starters were nice, then the main meal came, not really sure what i thought tbh, wasn't great. A wonderful meal and a great dining experience. Weve been to Stefanos several times before and have never come away dissapointed. The food was fantastic and the ambiance is welcoming and friendly with an attentive staff.

We had a shared Mezze starter which was generous and tasty. Great to dig in and share as a family.

For mains we had the Kleftiko which was so tender and moreish. The lamb was beautifully cooked. The Paidakia which was beautifully seasoned and the Moussaka which was one of the best we have ever tasted.

For dessert we shared a baklava and a kataifi which were beautifuly made, sticky sweet and a great way to finish off a beautiful meal.
