Black Swan Inn — Restaurant in England

I went with a party of 7 on a Saturday evening. We made a late afternoon booking and were surprised that they could accommodate us due to a very large public event in the area. We arrived to a partially empty pub not thinking good. Our thoughts quickly changed. The restaurant area soon filled up, the service was very good, but at times a little, this was due to the numbers dining, the staff great. 2 of the group, vegetarian had a good choice. The food we ordered from a number of starters through to dessert was very delicious. We couldn't believe the portion sizes. I've been in several restaurants were the starter size would have equaled the main. A couple struggled with the amount of food. Excellent home cooked man...

We were staying on holiday in the area and after reading reviews decided to book this pub/restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We arrived early, and decided to sit outside due to the nice weather and this was no problem to the pub. Service was fantastic and very friendly staff☺️. I don't know where to start for the Sunday Lunch, we got mixed meat and the portion sizes were huge!!! Sunday roast was all home-made and was honestly one of the nicest meals out I've had in a while☺️. They even boxed up our puddings as we were so full, fabulous service.

I would 100% recommend! Thank you very much, we will definitely return when back...

Had a lovely tea time meal here on Monday ,the guy behind the bar was very welcoming and friendly,nice dog friendly pub,we had to sit in the bar with the dog ,I ordered our drinks and placed our food order ,didn't take to long for the food to arrive,in walked the young lady with our food mountains ,,talk about a lot for your money ,corndbeef pie veg and home made chips ,beef suet pudding mash and veg ,both plates were massive,both me and the wife tryed our very best to finish ,but we're sadly beaten ,man0 food 1, excellent service , excellent food ,will definitely...
