Have made a breakfast stop in Masham on previous occasions on our way to the Sales and always enjoyed the food and found it to be good value and quality. Stopped on Easter Saturday and ordered a full breakfast and a sausage and bacon roll and lattes ( my husband not noticing his breakfast included a drink!) It wasn't busy so the food came promptly. Quite a disappointment on this occasion. The bacon was hard and had obviously been cooked for a while. The sausages were cheap tasting chipolatas too. The price is slightly above what you would expect to pay in a cafe so would expect local good quality pork products. However the remaining food was fine though £2.50 for a small latte is a bit steep. My friend in front of me ordered her sausage sandwich which I watched the lady put the hot sausages straight into a roll and bagged it, but sent my friend to the next hatch to collect. I ordered same and asked if she could just pass the two sandwich over. She told me she wasn't allowed to do that as other customers had ordered before us but their Paninis etc. weren't ready. It doesn't make any sense, why make someone wait, it took 5 minutes to receive our sandwich which were bagged ready and just left to go cold.
