Brazils Kitchen — Restaurant in England

Maybe it's because I'm old and cynical, but rarely do I feel compelled to write a review for positive reasons. Brazil's in Chesham put me in the right mood to change my outlook on life, even if only temporarily. Don't come here if you're in a hurry. If you're in a hurry, go to McDonald's or Pret or something. Brazil's is a special kind of place. The staff are efficient and friendly, the food lovingly prepared and not rushed, and the evidence is in the tasting. The atmosphere is as sublime as the menu; smooth inoffensive jazz and blues playing in the background at a level that allows you to maintain a train of thought. The customers are as friendly as the staff and engaged in random, unforced, no-pressure exchanges with eachother. This was all alien to me but I enjoyed every minute. I remember when this was originally a local butchers. Now it's very popular with locals and visitors alike. The cafe has a variety of food and patisserie available. I only stopped in for a take away coffee, but there is plenty to tempt you to have more. The staff were friendly even though it was busy, and tables were cleared and cleaned promptly. The coffee flavour wasn't the nicest I've had, but still quite palatable. The entrance and seating area is step free, however the customer toilet is up a step and didn't look big enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Overall a good...

Previous experience was okay. Last experience was terrible 14 quid not cheap for a breakfast the bacon overdone in the oven so tough could’ve walked home on it .black pudding cheap and terrible. Hash brown greasy even the toast was not done well was soggy+ undercooked tomatoes were underdone maybe they have a new chef I don’t know I don’t care but I won’t be going back £14.
