Peri Peri Original Chesham — Restaurant in England

Absolutely shocking customer service and support. I went in to buy cheesy chips & a garlic mayonnaise dip. It was £1.99. I said to the bloke behind the counter "cheers, gimme a sec buddy I'm just transferring the amount over to my current account so I can use my card". He took my mates order and then very rudely said "oi!", whistled at me like I were a dog and said, "can you pay?!?". I replied "woah, you don't need to whistle at me. Chill out mate I told you I was transferring the amount over to my card". When I did this a couple of moments later and popped my card in his machine, I noticed the machine stated it was £2.00 rather than £1.99. Now, one penny does not make a difference in my life, it's just the fact that I knew it was £1.99, so I questioned the price. He turns round and rudely replies "yeah the 1p is for wasting my time". When I complained to the other employees they said "yeah, he has a bad temper all the time", but didn't give me any indication that they would discipline or investigate the matter further. How many people does he do this to I wonder? And a staff that don't handle any complaints seriously is also worrying, that's a horrible environment. I shall not be going...

The guy who took my order was really rude. He saw me standing at the counter waiting to take my order. He was in the back leaning up against a wall and very rudely said, "what?" And I said I'd like to place an order. And he finally comes up to the counter, makes no eye contact, chewing gum and rudely says, "what do you want?" It seemed like he was forced to work there and seemed so uninterested and in a bad mood. Even when I was ordering, he wouldn't respond to me. Once my order arrived I asked if I had to pay extra for chilli sauce. He just rolled his eyes at me and chucked in a chilli sauce. He just seemed really rude and uninterested in working there. Looked like he could be the owner's son? However, the zinger burger I had was probably one of the best Zinger burgers I've ever had in my life. The place is pricey but that burger was 10 times better than KFC or any other chicken shop I've ever been to. You guys just need to train your staff to be more courteous and respectful to your customers. A lot of other reviews highlight how rude the employees are. It's really putting me off...

I've placed multiple orders from these guys, over a year, well since i moved to Chesham, at first chicken was really tasty. Few orders down a line, food quality began decreasing, even though i've given them a benefit of the doubt, because i liked their food from before, it seems that service they provide is no longer held to a high standard. Last few orders were the turning point for me, the food not as tasty, orders were missing drinks, extra sauce etc, this practice is not acceptable.

Most recent order, today, was the most disappointing. I had some guests over, so i figured i'll get some Peri peri "mild" chicken, what can go wrong? well quite a few things actually. 2 out of 3 drinks never got delivered, lack of sauce for 3 whole chicken meals. And on top of it all, chicken was so hot, that even I, consider myself a spicy food fan, i found to be way too hot to the point that i couldn't finish my meal, and it was meant to be mild.
