Brilliant local pub / restaurant that I've been going to for years. Whether it's watching the football, Monday night poker, a cheeky pint with mates or a decent meal out, this is where I go!

Great for Family & kids, Dog friendly, Garden outdoor space and onsite parking.

TVs showing sports, pool tables, dart boards, quiz night, live music, poker night - something for everyone. Always feel welcome, lots of regulars and friendly faces.

It's nice that in a time where lots of places struggle, or have closed down (especially locally) etc that this place is thriving and very popular with locals and visitors alike. And that's thanks to the friendly staff who give a great service every time, a vibrant atmosphere and quality food & drink. Good beer selection to quench my thirst

Manager was seriously rude to me and my friends when we came in. Denied us alcohol even though we come very frequently. Then tried embarrassing me in front of my friends. No manners, completely useless and shockingly bad and over priced microwave meals. Stay away, joke of a pub and appalling management.

Edit: I understand and respect the challenge 21 policy, it was the way the staff went about applying the rule. My friend was treated very rudely and when going to the bar for a soft drink, was humiliated by the member of staff. They accused a random person at the bar of buying drinks for my friend who they didn't know. Humiliating my friend. As well as that, when serving me at the bar, the manager was incredibly abrupt and rude. Shocking...

We were out for a family and friends meal, when we were there we ordered our food we were told it would be 30 minutes one and half hour later the food hadn't arrived we were not kept informed, the food order was wrong giving jalapeño pepper to someone who had an allergy to them we were not asked about weather people had allergies the order was wrong as well as being cold we didn't complain as we had children that were hungry so needed to eat. As the food was so long coming out when we wanted to order pudding we were told the kitchen was shut although food was still coming out. I was looking forward to a lovely evening but unfortunately it never turned out that way. Not happy or the usual standard that they have been provided...
