Burger King — Restaurant in England

Unfortunately, I have to give Willerby Burger King a star or I can’t leave a review!!

I arrived with my 10 year old daughter, placed our order and paid. We went to the toilet, came out and food was ready!!

We sat down to eat, she took a bite out of her chips and they were stone cold. I went back to the counter, were I proceeded to tell a member of staff (Mason) the chips are cold. He shook me off at first, then when I questioned what wasn’t he taking the chips, he started to argue back about me being in the toilet for 10 minutes!! It hadn’t even been 5 minutes since I’d ordered the food. I said are you not going to change them, his answer was ‘no, because it was me that was in the wrong’ he them started to mutter stuff under his breath and roll his eyes at me!! Luckily, another member of staff came over to see what the disturbance was about and replaced the chips!! Even a young lad in there was shocked by his response!!

In all my days of been in hospitality, have I ever witnessed any member of staff speak to a customer like that!!

Totally rude, unprofessional and disrespectful!! I am local, I can see why this restaurant was empty and there were no costumers!! I would never recommend or return to this place and our family is a big fan of Burger King!!

After reading the other reviews, turns out I’m not the person thinking...

So... We've all had these burgers that looks nothing like the pictures, right? This is the closest I've seen a Burger King (or McDonald's) get to it. Mainly because the salad elements aren't just tiny scraps of limp rubbish. Actually having real slices of onion really make a burger taste nicer IMHO 🤷‍♂️

Look, it's still BK, but it's better than others we've had... My only gripe are all the signs telling you that you must use the touchscreens to place your order 😒 But you can't use them to order any of the speciality burgers/food, nor off-menu items! Having such messages, along the lines of (I'm making this up, it's more about the sentiment) "go order your food elsewhere", "we don't talk to the public" is just wrong.

Anywho, if you like BK, this has been the best we've had 🤷‍♂️ Who even knew it's possible? Not me, that's the only reason for...

Don't bother going if it's past 9 on a night as they close the dining area early to save on staff costs, refused to let us sit inside at 8:50 the floor was soaked in mop water the door was actually locked we had to ask if they were open the staff were rude. Drive through is prioritised on a night not great when your travelling and have stopped for food and to stretch your legs we asked if we could just sit inside and the staff member Cooper was just rude. We paid for extra cheese on all the burgers and they failed at that. Food was freezing by the time we...
