All 3 days of the course Nicky our trainer turned up late, the last day of the course it was because she went to Lidl which i find unacceptable. A student got an infection in her toe from unsanitary tools which should not happen. Nicky had an attitude the entire training and became argumentative when questions were asked. We were not assessed on our training so how we are qualified i will never know. The nicknames Nicky used for her students was unacceptable “blondie” and “madame” were used regularly to refer to students. During pedicures Nicky asked a student to practice on her which was fine as there was an uneven amount of us but for a long duration of time which caused us not to be assessed. A lady joined our course on the second day and got a 1-1 with Nicky which meant none of us were getting help on our gel extensions. I have come away from the experience knowing 3 days is not enough to be qualified and the class was far to large. I would 100% recommend this course to anybody ready to start their nail tech career! I spent so much time searching for the right course and I absolutely made the right decision!! The 3 day complete course taught me everything I need to know and has given me the skills to start my own business as a nail tech! The course provides all the kit for the duration of the course and it is all amazing quality and is available to purchase as a full kit so you have everything you need to get started! The most important part of the course was our trainer, Nic! She was absolutely amazing, and so knowledgeable about all the products and techniques, she had years and years of experience in the nail industry! The whole duration of the course was such a relaxed environment which all us students agreed that it is definitely what made us enjoy and thrive through the course! A fantastic course that covers everything you need to know about how to become a nail technician and the chance to learn the skills required. The teacher was excellent providing demonstrations of each technique and then observering as you practiced them on a partner. Nicki was full of advice and tips of the trade and happy to answer any questions or sit with you whilst you practiced. I cannot recommend the course highly enough and particularly the tutor Nicki.
