Burrow Munch — Restaurant in England

The wife and I have been coming here since the Cafe first opened and I have to say that this is the best cafe I and the wife have ever been to, The staff are so helpful and knowledgable regards the food and will tell you where the food has come from. Claire & Lauren and Amy really make a good team as you would expect from Mum & daughter. And the food is of a seriously high quality and as far as I am concerned the nicest I have had in a long time and there is not a single morsel of cereal anywhere. If you want quality you will not find better and as you would expect great value for money. Also if you ask Claire for a birthday cake she will do her utmust to do what you ask for as my wife asked her to do a birthday cake for myself which was a bit of a slog but she still did it and the flavours were off the chart. Came in today (July 1st) about half an hour before the kitchen was supposed to close. We were told the kitchen had closed already so they were not doing any lunch. People who came in after us, however, were given food! They were served by a different lady, who took orders for jacked potatoes and ham baguettes. I went back to ask if they really had no more food left and was told (by the younger lady who spoke to us initially) that there was nothing. It felt very unfair and it gave me the impression that customers who were more assertive just got their way and were able to have food. Great new little farm shop and cafe with nicely selected local produce and gifts. Good for picking up essentials and treats. The best thing for me is the Bacon & Mushroom Bap. Possibly the best I've had and I'm 50 years old. I also had a really tasty jacket spud with home made Chilli con Carne last week. The staff are polite and really friendly.
