Cafe Express — Restaurant in England

Lovely friendly young lady serving, credit to the cafe, helpful and welcoming. Cant complain about the food was lovely and fresh and hot, very reasonable prices , hate to criticise as lovely place and i would have given 5* if not for this, but only downfall is the vinegar bottles need changing, very cloudy and bitty and looked off, wether been affected by recent heat I'm not sure? But I'm a bit of a weirdo that loves vinegar on my English breakfast and that was the only thing that let me down, that aside the young lady serving did make the effort to go and get me some in a bowl that wasn't off and was very apologetic. Won't put me off returning, great food options, great prices, just hope there's fresh vinegar next time :) and I'll look forward...

New review after eating in: When ordering food, the food was always amazing, I've changed my rating as after eating in, I've completely changed my mind, as they prioritise takeaways so much, that it took 45 minutes for us to receive our omelettes, only after asking about how much longer they would be, did our food arrive 5 minutes later, however, they arrived almost completely uncooked, we cut into it, and the inside was liquid. We were loyal, regular customers—but today was our last!

The toast wasn’t just overdone, it was burnt black. Completely inedible. The food was cold, and it was definitely not a “mega breakfast” by any stretch of the imagination. It seems the word mega means something very different to this place.

The sausage? Easily the cheapest, lowest-quality you can find on the market. Even my dog turned her nose up at it—and that says everything you need to know.

Extremely disappointing, and such a letdown after being regulars....
