I purely go here out of convenience. If you go in peak lunch time there tends to be a queue out the door.. If you go after the peak rush then they tend to have sold out of most of their sandwiches. Everybody gets takeaway but if you wanted to eat in it would be a very unpleasant experience as they use the seating area for delivery cage storage and sometimes use the area to snake the queuing customers I had a particularly bad experience today. The queue was slow moving and quite far out the door. After waiting for nearly 10 minutes I managed to get to the front of the queue to be find out that the wait had been so long as contactless payment was not working. Unfortunately I only had contactless as a form of payment so had to leave my food there and eat somewhere else.

Terrible Greggs. No sausage rolls and didn't have any in the oven. No large cups, felt like we was a hindrance. And worse part look at the state of my roll, it was cut the wrong way with red sauce all over the outside 🤷 it's bloody joke

Who doesn’t love a Greggs? Only improvement needed is more parking. Besides that the service here is great and it is always well stocked.

This place should be designated as a national treasure! The food is amazing. The prices are fantastic and the place opens early and closes late.... I try not to eat here everyday because too much of a good thing.... I'm definitely a fan. (Following my most recent visit to this usually divine destination for delightful pie products, I've had to remove two stars from my original rating). I stopped at Gregg's last Thursday to get a pie and a baguette in preparation for a nine hour drive to northern Scotland. I got my usual Steak Bake (with the number that I buy, I'm starting to think that maybe they should name this pie after me....) and a chicken and bacon baguette. After travelling for about fifteen minutes to give the pie a chance to cool a little (I'm a veteran of Steak Bake burnt tongue) I bit into my delightful square of pie heaven only to find it stone cold (like Steve Austin, the wrestler; not the six million dollar man). I was bitterly disappointed. I wanted a hot pie, bought one from a hot pie emporium and found it to be cold.... I'm starting to fall out of love with Gregg's, don't want to, but it's happening.... Gregg's, please keep the food hot until the shop closes, I know it helps with your overheads but it's my health and your reputation you're dicing with when you keep and serve cold food you made earlier without refrigerating it.......

Older lady that works in there is very rude. There really is no need for it at all, especially when you're being as polite as one can be. I've always been brought up to be well mannered as it may make a small impact on how someone feels emotionally. Made me feel really anxious and awkard, the way you could tell she hates serving customers or interacting with people in general. Didnt like the fact I wanted to use my newly downloaded Greggs app either, she was huffing and puffing so i told her not to worry as it seemed to really be troubling her and making her angry. Uninstalled app already as I guess there won't be any need for this now lol. Lovely food and great price but definitely won't be...
