First visit largely positive. Although not really anticipating a great deal, despite having noted several laudatory reviews, the breakfast was certainly acceptable, and as it included both toast and a hot drink, was good value at £5.30. My very elderly father had a jacket potato with beans, and whilst he usually has a very limited appetite, he professed himself satisfied having demolished a large spud! Very expensive breakfast if you want extras which you would except if you have a small appetite! No size choices on breakfast either and at 80p per slice of toast I think cafe J's is a relative of Dick Turpin.... For 4 rounds of toast , 2 sausages and tomatoes extra that totalled £6.40!!!! We found Cafe J's when we were looking at a property in the area - popped in for a coffee and cake. All of the staff (and customers) were friendly and gave us 'strangers' a warm welcome.
