Caprinos Pizza Salisbury — Restaurant in England

Saturday lunchtime order 21st Jan 2023, pizza meal deal for 2 plus 3 kids meals. Ordered at 12.30 for delivery to Durrington. Delivery slot given from 1.00 to 1.20pm.

At 1.50, the kids were hungry, the youngest went to sleep as was so hungry, middle one crying hungry, the oldest moaning hungry.

Rang for an update, apologies received, pizza left 15 mins ago and would be 5 minutes.

30 mins later, at 2.20pm, now an hour late, rang again. Pizza on the way, would be 5 minutes. Apologies again. I asked if pizza would be hot as it has been on the way for 45 minutes now. I was assured it would be hot and Caprinos would ring in 10 minutes to confirm.

10 mins later, caprinos ring and ask if my pizzas are hot. How should I know I say, they have not arrived. Caprinos tell me the driver says he has delivered.

We row a bit, I ask where they were delivered, they don't know. I ask them to connect me to the driver and they hang up. I call them back and we argue more.

To be fair, I dis accuse them of £53 daylight robbery and demand a refund. They keep saying next time, next time. There will be no next time I say and then, get this, and then...

The driver turns up, sorry, sorry.

I tell caprinos that they should do the right thing and refund. They will speak to a manager, never heard another thing.

One of the kids never touched the pizza as they had a sandwich because they were so hungry.

Our pizza, by the way, was not hot. It wasn't cold but definitely not hot!!

Do yourselves a favour, either collect the pizza, or go to mcdonalds. A lot less hassle.

Ordered food for me and my coworkers said the delivery would be about 45 minutes called the restaurant when the order was late and was told that it would be a further 25-30 minutes waited the 25-30 minutes still hadn't arrived so called again and was told the driver was on its way and that it would only be 6 or so minutes away, and hour after the origonal delivery time of 45 minutes I recive a call from the driver saying they were at Waterstones (couldn't walk down to where I work for some reason) when I walked to where the driver was i saw him trying to hand it to another business (luckily I know the guys there so they pointed to me when they saw me walking up) completely disgusted with the service I recived the man on the phone was blunt and un helpful and even though he reassured me the food would be HOT when I recived it it was barely warm, will not be ordering again especially when im working... DO NOT ORDER SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND JUST GO TO DOMINOS OR PIZZA HUT!!!! Genuinely astonished that he would try to give the food to someone else after speaking to me and me saying I would walk over (i had to leave work to collect it from the driver... I ordered delivery as I realistically couldn't leave work but had no other option!!)

Food tasted good was not cut straight for anyone's business with some slices being over double the size of others gave me the wrong sauses ordered garlic and barbecue was given ranch which my coworkers is allergic to... again just go to pizza hut or domino's genuinely mean that and hate to say it as when they opened they were my go to......

Having been a regular at caprinos so disappointing that yet again tonight an item was missing so I rang the store and spoke to the owner and he flat out accused me of lying and put the phone down on me. Honesty is important to me and im really upset that I paid for something and the staff think its OK to treat you badly. Never again will I order from there as they regularly forget items and say oh just tell us next time we will add it on. Previously I had put notes on for what I wanted on my order and it got ignored and the order turned up wrong. When I called them the answer was put it in the notes next time we will sort it out I was like really i did that this time and you didn't get it right. Every delivery the delivery guys ask us to leave a review and I wouldn't because of the missing items happening so often, we never had a bad delivery guy its a shame the restaurant staff couldn't deliver on...
