Captain Fingers — Restaurant in England

We have ordered here now 3 times and never had any problems before And have ordered the Same meals each time. We ordered today 20:52pm food Arrived at 21:18pm. When I sat down And started eating and separated the doner meat and was having to pull It to seperate it with My Hands as the strands was long. I put a piece to One side and went to eat a smaller part under neath. When I put my fork on to The meat I saw a dead mosquito type fly on it with the sauce. I immediately stopped Eating and put that piece with the fly on to one side and proceeded to check the rest of the food. On doing so I found parts of the legs cut of and on other pieces of The doner meat. I instantly felt sick To my stomach. I Will attach a photo. I barely eat fast foods due to these worries. We rang the place who said they would offer another meal, I instantly refused after seeing that hell no I wouldn’t want another meal. I asked for a refund which they said they would do. They also said someone would be round to collect the food and to no surprise no one has been round to collect. This place clearly is dirty seeing as the male on the phone said they have fly catchers etc well clearly you don’t. Many experience different Things until it happens to Them. Many people can be lucky and have no problems. This was not the case here for me. I will be avoiding this place from now on but for those still wanting to order then I would properly check your food. The photos attach show where I’ve cut the long pieces where there appears to be legs from this bug on them. I don’t know how much of this was spread through the meal but seeing that was more than enough. Such a disappointment. Maybe clean your shop better and keep these vile creatures out when serving food due to...

Customer servise was nothing short of outstanding. Came within given time. Food was piping hot. (NN3)area ordered from.

Ordered chips, mix kabab - lamb - dona - chicken, kids meal - nuggets & chips with a drink.

The portion size for the chips was huge, tasted delicious. The kabab was heavenly would honestly say the best I’ve had in a long time. Seasoning was spot on, huge portions of all meat. I had on pitta bread but it was a good size for all the meat to sit on.

Kids meal was a big size 5 nuggets and nice size portion of chips, I would say if you were to give to kids under 5 you could easily half it between 2. 4 yr old loved it, but couldn’t finish it, hense the suggestion above. Ate all the nuggets but not all the chips.

Overall this takeaway is the best I’ve had. Just you wait and see, well...

Food was ok, I went in their and the food hygiene is terrible. On a industrial estate and the smell when you go is an aroma of burnt oil. About six seven guys in there, not even equipped with any PPE. No aprons, hairnets or even masks. Working very closely, people waiting for food, a real shambles.

I had a kebab and chips. The meal was ok itself, nothing special. However I sit here 48 hours later discovering I have been a victim of food poisoning. Woke up in the middle of the night with terrible stomach cramps, which was due to the cause of diarrhoea.

I can tell it was due to captain fingers, as I'm extremely fit and have never had issues like this in my life. AVOID if you want to keep yourself away from risking a potential disaster. I never complain or even when I have a bad meal I forget about it. But this was terrible, really shocking. Needs to have health...
