Having visited this place a number of times in the course of the last couple of years, I have always found the service and courteousness of the staff to be great. Unfortunately not today. I live locally and regularly walk my dog up to Greggs and when the staff get a spare moment they will always serve me and take my card payment. Alas not today. Employee was abrupt, said cash only or tie your dog up outside. (I wasn't in the building but at the doorway and waiting for a quiet moment) to ask. The lady then shouted me to tell me the other part of my order was ready. I obviously didnāt hear her the first time as she yelled hello at the the top her voice and waved my food in the air. Then gave me the filthiest look when I took it from her. Iāve seen her do this before to other customers. Itās hard to hear with customers taking as itās a busy period, the aircon blaring away and the music. She didnāt need the attitude.    Read moreWouldn't accept a legal tender £20 Scottish note, and wouldn't even give me the time of day. The person who served me was very short with me and from what I can tell quite judgemental. I did explain my situation, which the person talked over me. After my purchase, paying with card, I did a small amount of research to find out this has happened before at other Greggs stores. I tried to inform the staff member about this. I know it's an if/ but; theoretically if I didn't have the digital money or other cash I wouldn't of had eaten that day.
