The Benham Sports Centre — Attraction in Great Britain

Went to the family rollerskate. Great fun! Skate hire is available. If your trying it out for the first time, please ask for wrist guards and knee pads if you feel you might need them. The crew are amazing, always watching out and checking in on people. There are toilets and a small cafe but you are welcome to take your own snacks and drinks, however please keep them of the skate floor. Listen to the DJ, he makes the rules, he reminds you of the rules and the crew are there to help enforce the rules. I took 4 teenagers rolling skating on a Saturday morning. 3 were able to skate but the 4th teen had never skated before and was really struggling. The 2 young people that were working were amazing. They took alot of time to show techniques and offer support. I know it may well be part of their job but to me it was wonderful to see this young teen go from constantly falling over to being able to, be it slowly skate down the middle of the rink after patient instruction from the staff. Benjamin is a large sports and events facility located on an industrial estate. We have attended various sporting events here as well as a "comicon" style event with my son. On very busy days there is overflow parking avaiable across the road from the venue. There is a very basic coffee shop inside serving hot drinks and packaged snacks (no hot food or sandwiches available).
