One of my favourite restaurants in the area. I invariably arrive early (and alone) The food is invariably superb and the pizza selection will satisfy those with a healthy appetite (takeaway boxes are often seen leaving) The wine cellar is more than adequate with a good selection of vintages. (Restaurant prices, of course) Table service is beyond reproach, attentive but not intrusive. The ambience is one of genteel elegance. Although 5 The Street, Radstock, has not always been a restaurant, the 'residue' of its former use still pervades. I'm always happy to eat here, either alone or occasionally in company.

Excellent! Would highly recommend for a local fancy meal. 3 courses and 2 cocktails came to approx £85 but the quality was sold cheap! Good social distancing. Good interior design. Looked clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our young, European, blonde server deserves a pay rise - she was excellent! The only complaint I have is to get a proper painter in to see to the cutting in by your split log wall - they could have at least removed the logs before painting! That’s just me finding a complaint.

Pretty good Italian food. Our teenagers thought the pizzas were excellent and I thought the pasta was great. Very tasty food and good portion sizes... Although a little on the pricey side. Service was efficient. They only downside was they didn't have any Diet Coke and the regular coke we got was very flat and watery (worst restaurant coke I've ever had).

First time there for sisters birthday, fantastic service, friendly staff, and the food was top quality! However, my only major disappointment was that with a table of 14 people, after we had finished our meal, we were told that the total bill wasn't allowed to be split. Of course not everyone carries cash!

So one person had to pay for everyone via card and with what cash people had on them, which wasn't fair, and had to chase getting the remaining cash from people the next day. I've never been to a restaurant who refuses to split the bill between different paying families, especially with the total that was being spent. I have to give a 3 for that because it caused a big headache and made making payments very frustrating as we had to do all the maths on the restaurants behalf.

The food however was great, a lot of people had different things and everyone really enjoyed the food. The staff were also really friendly and attentive to the person who's birthday it was, and as there was a young child the staff...

On a really busy evening the staff - as always, were patient, calm, helpful and efficient serving us with a smile and discovered it was my birthday and brought out a pudding with a candle and “happy birthday” written in chocolate sauce in the plate… and began singing “happy birthday” as they brought it out , whereby everyone joined in and the three super busy staff were all at our table singing along and waiting for me to blow out the candle. There were 11 of us in my party and they could not have been more accommodating adding the 11th person to the table just 20 minutes before we were booked. The staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and their service was excellent. The food was, as it always is, delicious, hot and all 11 of us received our meals at the same time. Brilliant thank you Radstock...

Went there for first time since well before Covid, was always excellent before and still is, excellent food, fine wines, we tried a cheeky champagne and it was fun, went with everything we ordered, well apart from the Tirimasu, however, that in itself was gorgeous, just doesn't go with champagne😊. They have redecorated so the place looks and feels fresh and cosy, although to be honest it has always been a lovely restaurant, I'm guessing Covid has allowed some things just to be refreshed without having to close as such. Waiters are always lovely, attentive and willing to have a giggle with you, glad we have this restaurant in...
