On a day trip to Barrow from Lake district. £4.20 for a flat white with alternative milk?! Costa you are having a laugh. I can get an equivalent flat white with a higher quality artisan coffee in the middle of the Lake District for £3.25!! Even Nero in Kendal is £3.95. Cornish pasty co. in Bowness is £3.25. All these purveyors of coffee (and alternative milks since you've changed brands) are better quality than Costa! Sadly the only alternative in Barrow is Greggs. I was going to have a few coffees here while I waited for a friend to have her appointment, but nope, 1 overpriced not great quality coffee and I'm gone. Won't be back either. No wonder the place is dead. You are pricing yourself...
   Read moreArranged to meet friends for a chat. I visited here on weds lunchtime, only sandwich available was bacon. Sat chatting when there was a change over if staff serving, a male who was very friendly was so loud when he spoke his voice bounced off the walls but to add to it was a female member of staff started to clean the table and chairs next to us then proceeded to hoover!!!!!!! EVERY time we call for a drink they aim to please .......and most definitely do!......nothing is too much trouble they are courteous and kind to everyone..........Daryl runs a tight ship and has a fantastic rapport with his team. May I also say that Drew Anderson has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met!......he along with rest of the team Work efficiently and are most definitely an asset to the company.
