Not one to do this, but I’m quite disappointed. I ordered a bueno waffle and triple chocolate cookie dough at 7:15pm, the estimated time of arrival was 9pm. It got to 9:20 and there was still no sign, I rang the restaurant up and was told the driver had the food and was on him way, 40 minutes passed and still no sign. I rang up again and was told that the owner was on his way to deliver it now ( we were told that a driver already had it ) then I was told buy the person on the phone that I can get a refund for the inconvenience, so I said yes and he then went on to explain how he can’t give refunds out. 15 mins later at 10:15 the food had came 3 hours after ordering and we were given a bag of harribo as an apology, but still had to pay, despite the cookie dough being sticky toffee not triple chocolate, the cookie dough was also like concrete and there was a hair in the food. my partner struggled to eat half of it with it being impossible for it to bite though, probably won’t be ordering...
Read moreFirst time coming here after seeing the amazing reviews on Facebook and Google. We have travelled from West Yorkshire to Barrow-in-Furness for the jubilee weekend break and WOW!!!! We don't get tasty food like this back home.
We ordered a goats cheese pizza and red onion chutney which was absolutely to die for, Mac N' Cheese with looooots of cheese (yum!!!!!!) Biscoff hot chocolate that arrived presently with cream on top, some cheros which were really nicely presented and flower pot special with chocolate orange and toffee ice-cream with actual chocolate flower pots and little chocolate flowers on top with 4 slices of strawberries!! Absolutely incredible food, absolutely incredible quality, incredible atmosphere, amazing decor and very friendly and welcoming staff. Me and my Wife were absolutely taken away by all of it and will definitely, definitely be coming again when we come back to Barrow-in-Furness. The 133 mile drive was worth it to visit. 5* couldn't rate...

Sausage rolls and quiche, fab, and scones, with lashings of butter jam and cream. A generous slice of chocolate cake, (never mind diamonds being a girls best friend, I would stick with the chocolate cake). Another delightful individual cake, and a drink of tea or coffee orders taken at the table and delivered correctly The venue was warm, and cheerful, fairy lights surrounded our happy party, and staff were lovely, taking particular care of two little ones, both comfortable in high chairs. I will be calling back for more. We took sandwiches, sausage rolls, and in my case two cakes with lashings of cream, neatly boxed for later. Well...
