Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

we went into one of your coffee shops in Workington yesterday and we were going to buy a couple of fruit scones as a treat, but alas on looking through the glass display cabinet all your cakes and food items were literally covered in flies hence we thought this very unhygienic and disgusting so we only bought two coffees, as laid down but the hygiene rules all food must be covered apparently your establishments do not follow this rule so as a consequence I will no longer be buying any food items in your establishments until this complaint is attended to, all your establishments are the same fresh cakes etc are not covered consequently giving access to disease carrying insects I.E flies wasps and...

Just had a hot chocolate that took 3 attempts to make. First one was luke warm, 2nd half full made by a young lady who seemed more interested in talking to her friend than making a decent drink. Grumpy when asked to replace the drink. Last one, which was good, made by a manager. Not good enough for Costa coffee sorry, I expect and normally receive...

You (eventually) pay your money and take your chances. Visited on a Sunday morning, not overly busy yet it took 20 minutes or so to be served their overpriced coffee because the in store customers had to Stan in line whilst the Uber eats etc orders were prioritised.
