Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Ran out of salted caramel syrup for any of the hot drinks we wanted ..turns out others couldn't be made because of that either; like the salted caramel promotion option at the time for instance....why wouldn't you just order extra syrup if your promoting drinks that use the same syrup obvioisly your going to be using more of it.... unprofessional that a brand as established as Costa ran out of something so easy to attain ..all other signature drinks were coolers and frappes or just werent appealing. Not interested.... Not much speciality choices for hot drinks to give the consumers something a bit different...they were just your bog standard coffee options available aside from that...I personally prefer Starbucks customer service and will not change my mind anytime soon. We ended up getting drinks from maccies round the corner we weren't dissapointed to drive away from here...

The team at Costa deliver the most outstanding service and I am delighted to spend my workdays there. I have been privileged to forge good friendships with staff and customers. They make 'going to work' enjoyable and I know other regulars feel just the same. I have heard it said that the coffees are somewhat secondary to the good feel and community spirit present within the shop!

I find the speed and quality of service to be of the the highest order. All staff members are personable and friendly. They are customer focused and totally in tune with customer needs.

On a more practical level, the tables are always clean and the internet is speedy and reliable; ideal for me trying to run an accountancy business without office premises.

Great choice of coffees and seasonal specials. However, for those who are dairy/lactose intolerant there is only soya milk as a free alternative milk as the others (oat, almond, coconut) all come at an additional cost. The app and website does show clear allergens in both food and see drinks, as does the menus screen in the shop. Although, those who are dairy/lactose intolerant are not able to have the option of a hot chocolate.
