KFC Scunthorpe - Gallagher Leisure Park — Restaurant in England

Not a good KFC. I’d avoid this KFC if you are in the area and choose an alternative.

To start with I decided to place my order at the machine with my boyfriend (that was the only smooth part of the service). While waiting for my order the person behind the counter cleared it and it appeared as complete on the screen - this was far from the truth.

After waiting a bit with other people another woman decided to approach the counter asking if she could pay (as she had ordered at the machine and was paying in cash). She gave over her money and the cashier gave her her change which was £10 short. The women then notified the cashier and it was fixed by the manager. The woman then received her order quite quickly after that (she’d ordered behind me so was a higher order number).

She then made up my boyfriend’s order (who was also a higher order than me) which was the same as me (plus a mini fillet burger) was then called. At this point the manager on the till asked me for my order number and shouted to the kitchen that she needed a gravy mega box - proving that my order had gone missing.

After eventually receiving my order both my boyfriend and I both had to ask for our drinks as they had forgotten them as well.

My order was correct (the piece of chicken was horrendous though and was dry and hard) but they had got my boyfriends wrong but this wasn’t the end of it. Someone came out to clean the tables WITH JUST HER HANDS (no cloth or spray to disinfect) knocking the rubbish onto the floor.

Overall, I will not be back to this KFC and will say it’s one of the worst...

I know there's been issues with a new supplier but they've had no hash browns or corn on the cob for over 2 weeks (and there's a Tesco opposite!). Just ordered a Zinger Tower meal and was told would have to just have a Zinger due to no hash browns. The next person in the queue was offered bacon & cheese instead so not sure why I wasn't. When I did get my Zinger (ordered without mayo), it came with loads of mayo in it. Took it back and then waited about 10 minutes for it to be replaced. On top of all this the staff seem to think it's all pretty funny. I would expect something along the lines of "sorry but we don't have such and such, would you like something different" instead of just laughing at customers with comments like "none of that either". Everybody I came in with had long since finished their meal and I'm still sat waiting. Did get another drink brought out when my food finally arrived (not that I really wanted another one) but my tray, cutlery and napkins etc had all mysteriously disappeared. It's really gone down hill in here recently, poor service and the staff just don't seem to care. Shame as I really like KFC but won't be coming here again, you don't get treated like a valued customer and the food isn't worth...

Visited this restaurant yesterday. Waited 10 minutes in the drive threw. Nobody served us. Drove to the window to place my order..I placed my order and the women said there would be a 15 min wait if I wanted chicken on the bone. I explained id been waiting there 10 mins already. Had changed my order to a boneless banquet. She said she would go get my order and closed the window. 5 minutes later she came back with my food after serving people inside the shop. She handed me my food just in a box. I had to ask for a bag as the box was falling apart. Took my food home to find out it was all cold and the chicken strips were like scraps. The chicken was so dried up to the point there was no chicken. Only one piece was edible. Had to drive 5 mile back to the restaurant to take it back. Complained to the manager which he apologised and replaced my meal. I explained to him that there was a que of cars in the drive thru waiting to be served.... Just as I was. Got home, the food was hot and a lot better. Went to eat the beans.... No spoon. Think the manager expected me to eat them through my straw!!!! All in all, not enough trained staff. Even the manger had...
