Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

On a dog walk, and meeting our grand daughter from train. Fancied a coffee and lunch. It had started raining. Went through back gate expecting awnings and heat lamps , as advertised. None were available. Went into premises following a fellow dog walker. It was not busy but we were told to sit outside as dogs not welcome. As it was raining and we were told that the awnings were broken we were told that if an area manager came in then we should mention that we had been told that dogs cannot be inside but they could stay. So, in summary, they did not care that it was raining and we should sit outside even though the awnings were not available. We did stay inside and our dogs were not a problem, we were more concerned about a baby that was allowed to crawl along the floor! In this area, especially, I would expect a more friendly approach...

Amazing place. Always a warm welcome by the great team including Jafar, Anna, the young asian chap and Rob. Service is a pleasure, the place is super clean. We actually come here especially instead of the local Costa's in Maidenhead, willing to travel for the right place and service. Just Awesome, thank you guys! Gary Mander, Wife and the 2 boys! Visited this place today at 13hrs. Very warm, welcoming and a very clean and cosy atmosphere. Due to Covid-19 lockdown, it was a large takeaway hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows that I ordered. Polite and professional service by the Barista! Fantastic selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Highly recommended. Costa never fail to deliver an exceptional service...
